Quantity Surveyor – Expatriate in a Construction Company

Adexen Recruitment Agency has been mandated by a Construction Company in Nigeria to recruit an expatriate for the position below:

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Expatriate
Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and Drafting Contract conditions
• The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for compiling, preparing, and issuing sub-contractors’ documents. In addition, he will also liaise with project managers and quantity surveyor team on contractual issues for both the main contract and sub-contracts.
• Preparation of Interim valuations
• Preparation of Variations
• Defending and negotiating valuations, variations and claims with Client and Consultants.
• Preparation of Claims
• Contractual advice

Desired Skills and Experience

• English language
• High-level communication skills and ability to negotiate
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience
• Experience in Africa (Preferable Nigeria)
