Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc was incorporated in September 1960 as a private limited liability company, and commenced operations in 1962 with an installed capacity of 600 metric tons per day. The Company was converted to a public limited liability company in 1978, and its shares were subsequently listed on The Nigerian Stock Exchange.

In its 54 year history, Flour Mills has remained at the forefront of wheat milling in Nigeria. The Company’s flagship brand, Golden Penny, remains one of the best known and the preferred brands amongst bakers, confectioneries and consumers in Nigeria. Flour Mills has invested over N25billion in milling infrastructure over the last seven years, to maintain its competitive advantage. Today, Flour Mills has a rated milling capacity of over 8,000 metric tons per day, making it one of the largest single site mills in the world.

STORE MANAGER

THE JOB

 Responsible for physical storage of raw material, consumable, spares and finished products to prevent spoilage and pilferage
 Manage and supervise all stores administrative activities
Draw up and coordinate a detailed plan to ensure that all items in the stores are kept safe and in good condition.
Ensure accurate records are kept for stock items in FMN ERP system
Ensure the correct level of inventory is maintained by constantly liaising with various departments;
Train Store staff to maximize individual and team performance

THE PERSON

Good leadership and people management skills
Good communication skills
Problem solving skills
High numerical and analytical skills

QUALIFICATION
5 O-Levels credits including Mathematics and English
First degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
Experience
5 years cognate experience in related industry.

HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIROMENT OFFICER

THE JOB

Undertake audit and workplace inspection to proactively identify HSE practice and its improvement
Carry out hazard identification, analysis and control
Implement HSE strategies, policies, procedures and safe workplace practice
Develop and deliver training, tool box talks on HSE
Carryout accident/incident investigation

THE PERSON
Ability to identify hazard and control it
Good leadership and people management skills
Good technical knowledge on basic engineering functionalities
Must demonstrate a high sense of discipline
Good communication skills.

QUALIFICATION
5 O-Levels credits including mathematics and English
First degree in Engineering
Nebosh International General Certification/ ISPON level 3

Experience
3 years cognate experience
