The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) is an
independent examinations body that provides and conducts qualitative
examinations for candidates seeking Direct Entry admissions into
tertiary institutions.
DRIVER, GRADE I
RESPONSIBILITIES
Driving company's vehicles
Delivering important documents to required destinations
Keeping vehicles clean and maintained at all times.
Any other duties as assigned by the Registrar/CE.
REQUIREMENTSThe ideal candidate must be:
In good health with very good eyesight
Neat and have a positive attitude
Physically fit, always alert and aware
Sound and have good judgement
QUALIFICATION:
Minimum
qualification of WAEC/NECO, SSCE or GCE O/L certificate with five (5)
Credits including English and Mathematics plus at least a Class “E”
Driving License and Trade Test III.
EXPERIENCE:
Applicants
must have at least three (3) years experience as a Driver preferably in
a reputable organisation. Experience in Auto Mechanics practice will be
an advantage.
ASSISTANT ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing administrative support to the Senior Accountant
Undertaking tasks such as posting of transactions, filing, making phone calls, handling mail and basic bookkeeping.
Assisting in maintaining the Accounts Office and keep it running smoothly.
Working with excel, ledgers and journals.
Preparing statutory/final accounts.
Managing petty cash transactions.
Other duties as assigned by the Senior Accountant
QUALIFICATION
OND/HND/B.Sc in Accounting. Minimum of one year experience will be an advantage.
ASSISTANT IT EXECUTIVE
RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing user support for systems problems.
Supervision and maintenance of IT infrastructure, all computers or telecommunications equipment and network.
Populating and maintaining the JUPEB corporate website.
Managing conferencing as well as reprographic equipment.
Ensuring optimal utilization of available resources.
Other duties as assigned by the Head IT
QUALIFICATIONS
OND/HND/BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Minimum of one year experience will be an advantage.
SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE/HR OFFICER
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Administrative/HR Officer will coordinate and supervise administrative duties in the Organisation
General administrative functions of the organisation
Human
relations Management e.g., orientation and training of employees;
maintaining a safe and secure work environment and developing personal
growth opportunities.
Communication of job expectations; planning,
monitoring and apprising job results; coaching, counselling and
disciplining employees as well as initiating, coordinating and enforcing
systems, policies and procedures
Identification of needs of all
departments within the organisation, managing supplies and establishing
policies, procedures and work schedules.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATION:
A
first degree from a recognised institution with a minimum of Second
Class Lower Division. Possession of a Masters/Ph.D degree will be an
advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have a
minimum of 6 years post-NYSC working experience with at least 3 years
in a similar role as an administrator
ASSISTANT TEST OFFICER
RESPONSIBILITIES
Development,
commissioning, moderation, critique and field testing of test items as
well as item analysis in each of the advertised subjects.
Planning and administration of the Boards examinations in various centres across the country
Participation in the accreditation and supervision of operations in various Affiliate Universities
Maintaining the integrity, security and supervision of tests to the required standards
Periodic downloads and review of examination and test centre schedules and polices
Liaison with test developers, moderators and coordinators
Support of test delivery processes as required
Interaction with examination candidates as required
Requirements
Qualification:
Minimum
qualification of a Masters Degree in any of these subjects:
Literature-in English, Christian Religious Studies, Economics, Biology
and/or Physics is required.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of one year post qualification experience will be an added advantage.
TEST OFFICER
RESPONSIBILITIES

Participation in the accreditation and supervision of operations in various Affiliate Universities
Maintaining the integrity, security and supervision of tests to the required standards
Planning and coordination of training and activities of the Board
Supervision of Test Officers and coordination of activities in the various affiliate centres
Other duties as assigned by the Registrar/CE
REQUIREMENTS
Qualification:
Minimum qualification of a Masters Degree in any Teaching Subject or in Tests and Measurement.
EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have at least twelve (12) years experience in managerial position in:
An examination body and must have been involved in Test Development, Test Administration, and/or Evaluation
Teaching/research in Tests and Measurement in a university.
Could be a serving or retired officer.
