Our client is an oil and gas
group company. Incorporated in November of 2013 and commenced operations the
same year, the Company is set up to play in the Downstream, Midstream and
Upstream space of the oil & gas industry. To consistently maintain
top-class service delivery, the Company is looking for a high calibre individual
with substantial experience in tank farm operations gained from an organisation
of comparable scale.
JOB TITLE:

Supervisor – Downstream Oil & Gas
(Port Harcourt)
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you
will provide support in logistics and operations. You will ensure efficient
coordination and control of the order cycle and processes, identify
opportunities for efficient sourcing of products, gather and analyse market
intelligence for a more cost effective sourcing of products. In addition, you
will liaise, negotiate and interface with Depot
officials and Trucking companies, coordinate the loading and logistics
operations in a safe and controlled manner and in compliance with the standards,
procedures, legislations and depot management specific systems, amongst other
responsibilities.
QUALIFICATION:
Degree-qualified, you must have extensive experience
in tank farm operations. You must have a good knowledge of the downstream
petroleum sector, terminal operations, engineering and facility upgrades. You must have a
good knowledge of flow dynamics, custody transfer systems, safety regulations,
petroleum industry codes, specifications and standards. Ability to demonstrate strong
supervisory and team management experience, a well developed time management
skill as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks with good oral & written
communication skills are essential for this position. Proficiency in the use of
Personal Computer (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, etc.) is also required.
